I'm trying to lose weight. No fad diet – just eating less of what i've been eating, and sticking with the exercise program as usual. Instead of going to the freezer and getting a bowl of ice cream, i'll grab a huge glass, fill it with ice, then water. I often end up guzzling a half gallon in a few minutes.
But the diet isn't working. Can drinking lots of water cause sustained weight gain? Instead of calories in vs calories out, perhaps the simple physics is weight in vs weight out.

Minus the weight of the growing baby, is the weight that women gain during pregnancy because your body hangs on to extra calories regardless of what you do or eat? Im a guy..21 years old…5''7 and o god…my weight is currernly at 110 pounds for someone who's 5''7! I should be at least over 125 pounds to be at healthy weight range but I'm way off.
I do think I have fast metabolism but I shouldn't always blame it on that since the main reason is my poor eating habbit that's preventing me from gaining weight.
When I was 17, I did this gaining weight program my friend offered. I was 110 pounds at that time as well. After I tried it for like 6 monthes…my weight increased to about 140 pounds. The program emphasized on eating lots of calories like 20 times your body weight and weight lifting.
The program did seemed to work but it was hard as hell. I was focring myself to eat like I never did before. Everyday after each meal, I felt like I was gonna puke from over eating.
These days, I get up at like 10am and don't eat anything until like 3-4pm. And I don't really feel hungry at all. Can you guys tell me a way to increase my appetite so I can actually live like a normal human being and start eating like everyone else? The fact that I dont feel hunger after hours and hours is really messed up.
Oh and I can't even finish a big mac meal at mcdonalds. I can only finish the fries and half of the sandwhich and soda. This is really SAD! HELLLLLLLLPPPPP
Uh…so how do I eat big if i dont feel hungry? That is the main problem I'm having right now. I don't feel hungry even after hours and hours. If I feel hunger..I start eating and the hunger just goes away like before I'm half way done and after like a few mintues, I don't feel like eating at all.
It pains me that I have to force myself to eat. ughhh
