weight gain – fat vs muscle?

so I'm on a weight gain program, eating roughly 2500-3000 calories a day until I reach a healthy bmi. However I've been asking myself – what would be the healthy ratio of fat:muscle for me to have? obviously I want to gain both, but how do I know I'm doing it right (ie. not gaining too much fat)?

I have been faithfully dieting and exercising for a month. I have lost ten pounds, but it is so discouraging to get on the scale and see a gain when I count calories and fat daily. Why do you gain at times? Does anyone know? Thanks

225. Another Weight Loss Exercise Gimmick

Another exercise gimmick for sale.

I have made up my mind to get bigger and need help gaining. I have never been overweight, but think pudgy women are so sexy and decided I want to be a little fat myself.

I am 120 and 5 foot 5 and half and think 150 to 165 would be great for me. Size 12 or so. I am a tight 5, size 7 is my comfy size.

Please dont be rude and make unkind remarks about gaining. All I want is advise on things that work for women to gain weight. I am more interested in gaining fat, not muscle.

Also, I am more interested in what works, not necessarily healthy food, but I am not opposed to delicious healthy things.

You can IM me too, I have my IM deal turned on.

I started my weight gain program today by quiting my aerobic classes and buying a few things like lots of coke and ice cream. But I want suggestions from women who are ectomorphs or tend to be naturally thin.

Myself I never have been heavy and cant wait, but its hard for me so I want advise from women who are thin naturally.
In other words I want advice from women, or men who are naturally thin and have gained before. How did you override your genes. What works for us thin people? Personal experiences are better advice than just telling me things that have calories. I already know that, and it doesn't work for me since I already eat alot of fattening things and dont ever gain.
I am sick of the health remarks. I already evaluated that. What I really need is suggestions from women in particular who are normally thin and found foods or ways of eating that make you pudgy, since its hard for me. Smile. Thank you so much.

I often feel like I gain weight from diet drinks but then they say that they do not have any calories or anything so I think it can't be so. Does anyone know about diet drinks? Can you drink as many as you want without gaining weight?

Why can’t I gain any more weight…?

I was doing so good with my weight training/weight gaining program and… i hit 140 and I can't gain any more….i'm 6'0 tall, male, 18 years old, eat prolly about 7000 calories a day easy.

What's wrong?

a HEALTHY weight GAIN diet plan please?

My nutritionist is terrible and I dont have any options for getting a new one because of our health plan, so I'm looking for advice on a HEALTHY way to gain weight. My nutritionist said "2500 calories a day", but it's hard for me to get all of that in…especially with the food allergies that I have. I have a weak stomach (im sensitive to fats)…but ANYWAYS…i just need some suggestions on how to gain weight in a HEALTHY way…what is a diet that wont just pack fat onto my stomach? i want to gain evenly throughout my body.

So I'm on a weight gain diet, but I'm really confused. I'm trying NOT to just pack weight onto my gut. I'm trying to gain it evenly. I'm wondering if the natural sugars in fruit are going to just pack weight onto my gut. Will 6-7 servings a day do that? Should I maybe substitute some of those servings for whole grain bread? Which would be better…whole grain bread or an apple or an orange? is 100 calories of bread the same really as 100 calories of fruit? I'm confused. I need help.
Oh, and by the way…the fruit is mostly apples and oranges.

Whats a good supplement to build muscle fast?

Im trying to lose weight and build muscle.
My friends are telling me to take whey protien but im not sure about how much fat or calories is in it. I just want somthing that I wont have to worry about getting fatter with.
PLEASE HELP ME.
:)
