I am obese and I am wondering if anyone knows of a published prenatal diet to prevent unnecessary weight gain. Please don’t tell me to see a nutritionist unless you have a specific recommendation of a nutritionist that specializes in prenatal diets in Philadelphia! Thanks.
I gained 80 pounds with my last pregnancy and haven’t lost it!
Do NOT seem to get morning sickness…want a published diet so that I make sure I am getting everything I need, but make sure I do not overdo it!!!

I’m 22+ , slim, having 6 ft. 3 inches height. I workout regularly for 2 and a half months. Before joining the gym, I was 67 Kgs. Now I’m 72 Kgs. I didn’t get any fats. The increase is only by muscle mass. So my trainer appreciated it. Can you tell me how much weight do I need to gain to make a perfect body for my physical configuration?
Also, I take protein supplements for every 15 days in a month. I can’t take weight gainer as they are too costly. Can you suggest any type of normal food or regular diet from for gaining weights?
Need to gain weight. I’m looking for foods that won’t irritate colon. fried foods and red meat and sugar filled ice cream are out. Any Ideas.

an someone explain to me why go you gain weight on extreme diets?
I have two sets of information:
First info:
You burn fat before muscle. But when you go off the diet your body will store more fat than it did before. When you go on an extreme diet, you body thinks there is a famine and adjusts your metabolism to protect you from starvation. That means you will store more fat from the foods you eat after you go off your diet because you body is trying to safeguard against future famine situations. That’s why extreme diets can actually make you fatter in the long term.
Second info:
The body CAN NOT change resting metabolic rate per unit of fat-free body mass. Studies have shown this. Your resting metabolic rate will decrease as you lose muscle. Losing fat alone will not lower your RMR (and note that you will need to follow a very sensible program to lose fat without losing muscle). You have probably heard that people who go on crash diets end up lowering their metabolic rate, which means when they go off the diet, they put on fat more easily than before they started. This is because they have lost muscle, they have lowered their metabolic rate.
However, the amount of energy burnt per unit of fat-free weight does not change; poor dieters end up with fewer units of fat-free weight, and that’s where their vicious cycle comes from.
Basically one person is saying that you burn fat, but when you get off the diet because your in starvation mode you just gain it all back.
The other person is saying you burn fat and muscle so when you go off the diet your metabolic rate is lower (because you lost muscle) and thus you gain weight.
I really want to know why you gain weight on extreme diets..an someone explain it for me.
Most people think that if they are going to be a bodybuilder they need to lose weight. The truth is that with muscle growth you will be gaining body mass. There is a healthy amount of bodybuilding weight gain that you should have while you are trying to bulk up. On the other hand, there are some people who simply want to pile on the pounds no matter if it is fat or muscle. Why would one want to do that? In this article you will find out why people are working towards gaining weight and what the right ways to accomplish this are.
Some people have a metabolism that is so high that they have an extremely difficult time gaining weight. Did you know that if you are underweight or overweight you could have a hard time conceiving a child? Your body just is not healthy in both scenarios. That is a good reason for somebody to want to gain weight. Athletes are also a group of people who might need to gain weight. UFC fighters need to make it in a certain weight class as well as professional, or even high school, wrestlers. The same is true for a bodybuilder. They need to make the specific weight class, so they might either need to cut weight or gain weight in a short amount of time.
There is a right way for bodybuilding weight gain and there is also a wrong way. Some bodybuilders just want to gain weight as fast as possible and this usually ends in them overtaxing their digestive systems. To cut weight fast some wrestlers have been known to wrap their bodies in plastic and heavy clothing to take a run. This is very dangerous because it could lead to dehydration. When your body is dehydrated it will not be able to function properly. There is a diet that you should follow in order to have proper weight gain that will mostly be muscle growth. This diet requires that you eat 90% raw foods and also eating whole grains. Drink plenty of water.
To gain weight that counts you need to take in nutrients that are high in quality nature. Make a planned menu and control what you eat. You will notice that the healthier the foods that you eat are, the better your body will feel. Make foods at home instead of going out to eat for your meals. Not only will you feel the difference in your body, but you will also notice a difference in your checking account.
You may have noticed that many bodybuilders take supplements to help them bulk up. Some studies show that the supplements are healthy while others show that the supplements can cause long-term damage to your body and muscles. Whenever you are going to do anything to your body you should always take the natural route. Avoid taking pills that say they will promote bodybuilding weight gain. Don’t add weight gaining supplements to your meals. Find a diet that you can follow, actually do your workout routine on a regular basis, and live a healthy lifestyle. If you are faithful to yourself and your routine you will notice positive results in your body and lifestyle that will last a lifetime.

I am a 21 y.o. female and weigh 90lbs, which is underweight for my height. I just got diagnosed with hypoglycemia and I’m trying to find a good diet that will help me gain weight. Also, my cooking skills are very limited, so any suggestions on easily-prepared meals would help me a lot.
