During sleep, the body recuperates and regenerates. This means that all the food eaten during the day is assimilated and then distributed amongst the various tissues of the body. New cells are generated, and old cells are destroyed. When the body has the right combination of high intensity exercise, good nutrition and sufficient water intake, the muscles become fuller, larger and more well-defined.
