You have to remember that losing weight fast is not always healthy nor is it always effective in the long run. However, there are certain circumstances where you need to shed off weight in the least amount of time possible.

• Crash Dieting.
This method is very popular among people who want to lose weight fast without having to engage in any form of exercise or physically extraneous activities. Crash dieting can be done in many ways. Some of the most widely used is skipping certain meals; breakfast and dinner are the ones usually skipped especially for people with a varying work schedule which allows them to stay in bed longer in the mornings and come home very late at night, thereby making lunch the only meal for the day. • The fruit diet.
This method of losing weight fast is something that a significant number of people swear by. Being on a fruit diet allows you to clear out toxins that were brought about by too much fat intake and it helps in clearing the blood vessels for more efficient blood flow. This form of dieting does not only make you lose weight but also give your skin a great glow because of all the free radicals that were flushed out of your system. The fruit diet also promotes better bowel movement for those who have some problems in their excretory system. This form of diet, however, should not be done for more than 2 weeks in a row. Sooner or later, your body is going to crave for meat and such and being on a fruit diet for too long will backfire on your weight loss plans. You might even gain more weight afterward if you use this method inappropriately.

• Taking appetite curbing pills.
Also becoming very popular to people who are looking for ways of losing weight fast. Taking these pills will suppress your appetite so that you won’t have the hankering for any food particles at all. This should not mean, however, that you will no longer ingest food and liquids at all. It is very important to eat at least 2 full meals while taking these pills to keep up with your recommended nutritional needs for the day. This will be very helpful for people with very large appetites and cannot practice control in their eating habits. Again, the underlying consequence of this method of weight loss is that there is a greater chance of gaining all the weight back once you stop taking the pills.
