How do you prevent weight gain while fasting and crash dieting?
Esp. when you are going to be working out relaly hard?
I know that the body can go 75 days without food provided it has plenty of water, but if you want to go beyond 75 days, how do you prevent weight gain?

I'm trying to lose weight. No fad diet – just eating less of what i've been eating, and sticking with the exercise program as usual. Instead of going to the freezer and getting a bowl of ice cream, i'll grab a huge glass, fill it with ice, then water. I often end up guzzling a half gallon in a few minutes.

But the diet isn't working. Can drinking lots of water cause sustained weight gain? Instead of calories in vs calories out, perhaps the simple physics is weight in vs weight out.

weight gain diet?

are there anymail order diets geared twords weight gain. i get tire of cooking all the time and would like to have some sort of healthy diet with out cooking it for my self. i tried healthy choice once but it was nasty and not filling.

This is a program designed to get you back to your optimum weight and to keep it there. This is not a fad diet or one that costs you a fortune. It’s all natural and includes a 30 day detox. www.waterleafpublications.com

Okay now I'm not a bodybuilder nor do I really want to be. I've athlete my whole life, and have always had a thinner or leaner build. I'm now 6 ft and prob around 163 pounds. At almost 20, I want to be in the 180's range. My problem has never been the definition, but gaining the weight/pounds.

Now I know I can't just lift a little and play some ball, and that nutrition is the most important thing to a weight gain, and gaining serious muscle. I've looked at different websites and have talked to friends and trainers and a lot of them all say the same thing.. I have a pretty good idea of some stuff and have read some okay plans , but i think i just need somebody or some kind of written out schedule or learn how to make weekly chart with the right foods. Plus I don't really cook at all, so am not too sure on what chicken to buy or whatever when at the grocery store…

anybody have a plan that works or has worked for them??

I started exercise program June 1st & noticed slight weight gain. Could this be muscle mass?

I have gained about 10 pounds since finding out about my first pregnancy a month ago, and it didn't help that at the time I had just started a new weight loss program that I had to give up. I am so frustrated with this because I am trying to eat as well as I can but it seems like now more than ever food is always on my mind. I try to remind myself that I need to eat healthy for the baby, but everyone I know didn't start out their pregnancy overweight, so they don't have the same body image problem I do. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to manage the weight gain better during the pregnancy or to slow it down so I'm not gaining 8 pounds a month during my pregnancy? I worked really hard to get down to the weight I was at and I am already dreading being back at what I was three years ago when my weight loss odyssey began. I think that maybe if other women give me suggestions I can handle it better and maintain my weight gain better during this time.

Please help me out on this. I have been eating quite less for the past 3 months and have lost like 15g. But it got overdone and all my skeletal and shoulder bones have become awfully superficial. On everyones advice,I started eating normally and am trying to hide all those upper bones. But the weight is accumilating only on my belly and the facial bones are still naked. I am thin and fat at the same time. How do I ensure that the weight gain goes to my superficial areas and not my abdomen? Please sggest something.

I'm currently on a weight loss program, but since I started medication for my panic disorder, my weight has fluctuated dramatically, mostly in the weight gain direction. Any advice?
