I hate being on a weight gain diet because I dont know what foods Im supposed to eat a lot of that are healthy. I do wanna gain weight but I dont wanna gain fat. I drink the Ensure drinks but they have a lot of fat in them so Im wondering if I shouldnt drink them if I dont wanna gain fat. What kind of foods should I eat a lot of that are healthy and will make me gain?

Protein, protein, protein! if you dont want to gain weight and not fat, you need protein. dont cut out fat and carbs though cause you will lose weight. just eat what you normally do, just add more protein(eggwhites, tuna, potted meat…) or if you have alittle extra money ou can go to GNC and get some weight gain drink mix.
Why are you on weight gain? Are you anorexic so your doctor is making you drink ensure? Because if you are recovering from anorexia then of course you don't want to eat anything with fat in it or anything that has more than 300 calories in a 8oz can. When I recovered from anorexia I had to drink two cans of ensure a day when I was in a treatment program, and it stills took me about a week and a half to gain a pound. I recommend you just listen to who ever recommended the ensure because they know what you need to be healthy.
You should ask your doctor or nutritionist that question. I'm surprised that they didn't give you a list of healthy foods to eat to help you gain weight. Talk to your doctor. Best wishes!
Eat healthy but try to eat more than 60% of your calories after 7PM at night.
Low fat protein will do the trick.
You've got to work hard to gain weight without getting fat. Your body will do something with all the calories you eat, so if you aren't exercising (probably weight training), your body will put the extra calories on your tummy, hips and thighs.
The key to eating for gaining muscle is protein. The best protein source is meat – for low fat sources, eat fish (canned tuna is a staple of a bodybuilding friend of mine) and chicken and turkey (breast meat is leaner than drumstick/legs/thighs.
If you keep track of what you eat, keep 10-20% of your calories from fat, 40% from carbs, and the rest (40-50%) from protein. That way, when you work out, your body will respond by building as much muscle as possible.
