do i have to gain weight before starting my weights program?

i am 130lbs. about 5′7”….. do i still have to become fatter first before going to the gym?because i want to have a body like jason statham..please help..thnks a lot!!:D

nope. just remember to eat more everyday. take protein shakes and take more protein food.
fat and muscle are completely different. don’t get fat for muscle. workout, eat plenty of protein( one gram per pound of body weight and 20 grams an hour before working out and 40 immediately after) moderate carbs, low cal if possible and stick to cardio alongside a weight training schedule at least three days a week
